Weeknight Privacy Policy

How Weeknight, from Arkhos Labs, handles information. No backend server, no accounts, no ads, no tracking; local storage plus RevenueCat.

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This policy describes how Weeknight ("the App"), operated by Arkhos Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our"), handles information.

The short version

Weeknight has no backend server and no account system of any kind: no sign-in, no login, no registration. There is no Weeknight-operated database of your meal plans, your grocery lists, or your budget. Your preferences live on your device. The only outside parties who see anything are Apple (because Apple processes your payment) and RevenueCat (because it manages your subscription on our behalf). We do not show ads, we do not have an analytics SDK tracking your behavior, and we do not sell your data to anyone, because there is essentially nothing of yours to sell.

Information we collect

Stored only on your device:

  • Your meal-planning preferences: budget, chosen grocery store, household size, days you cook, dietary needs, disliked ingredients, and the plan Weeknight builds from them

This data is stored locally using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults) and is never transmitted to a server we operate. Deleting the App deletes this data. It is included in your device's iCloud/iTunes backup if you have backups enabled, the same as any other app's local data; we have no separate copy.

Through your subscription: When you subscribe, Apple processes your payment directly; we never see your card details. Purchase and entitlement data (which plan you're on, whether your subscription is active) is shared with RevenueCat, a subscription-management service we use to validate purchases and manage entitlements. RevenueCat receives a RevenueCat-generated anonymous identifier tied to your install and transaction data, not your name, email, or payment details, and not anything tied to an Apple account, since the App has no sign-in. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for how they handle that data.

What we do not collect: name, email, location, contacts, photos or camera access, health data, browsing history, or any advertising identifier. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

How we use information

  • To validate and manage your subscription (via RevenueCat)
  • To respond if you contact us for support

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build a profile of you for any purpose beyond the App working correctly.

Sharing

We share information only with:

  • Apple, as the platform StoreKit runs on
  • RevenueCat, as our subscription-management processor

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone else.

Data retention

Local preference data persists only as long as the App is installed on your device; uninstalling it deletes it. Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction records according to their own policies, which you can review directly with them.

Your choices

  • Reset your data: in the App, go to Settings → Reset my data. This permanently deletes everything stored on your device: your plan, shopping list, and cooking history. It can't be undone. Uninstalling the App has the same effect.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or App Store Connect → Subscriptions.
  • Questions about data Apple or RevenueCat hold: contact them directly, or contact us at the address below and we'll help route the request.

Children's privacy

Weeknight is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we'll help address it.

California and UK/EU users

We do not sell personal information, as defined under the CCPA. Because Weeknight collects only what's described above and stores it locally, there is very little to request access to or deletion of beyond your subscription record, which RevenueCat and Apple can help with directly.

Changes to this policy

If how the App handles data changes, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the App's release notes.
